Daniel H. Wilson's "How to Survive a Robot Uprising: Tips on Defending Yourself Against the Coming Rebellion" has found a home at Paramount Pictures.

Variety reports that the studio made the deal based on a pitch from the writing team of Thomas Lennon and Ben Garant (The Pacifier, Herbie: Fully Loaded), who will pen the script.

The book, which will likely hit stores at the end of the year, was written by Wilson as a doctoral candidate at the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon U.
