Writer/actor Vince Vaughn says that his new film The Break-Up was written for his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, before the two had even met, Digital Spy reports.

The star co-wrote the film’s screenplay and hired the cast and crew.

He told World Entertainment News Network: “I had her in mind when I was writing, because I wanted someone who was good with comedy, but also a good actor. There was no second choice.”
