Harry Potter star Emma Watson might study at an American university after she visited the campus of Harvard University last week during an open day.

University officials have confirmed that the British actress went to dormitories and the admissions office.

"I've applied to a few universities for next year, including several American ones. If I do go there, I will do a liberal arts degree, but if I stay in the U.K., I'll do English literature," Watson said earlier this year.
