Looks like funnyman Will Ferrell and British actor Ewan McGregor are tops on the Forbes.com list of Hollywood's most overpaid stars with movie flops.

Coming in close behind are Billy Bob Thornton, Tom Cruise and Jim Carrey whose movies didn't do as well as the actors were paid. Ferrell, who started in this summer's flop, Land Of The Lost made the grade because the movie only earned US$65 million worldwide. It cost an estimate US$100 million to make.

Forbes.com estimates that for every dollar Ferrell was paid for his films over the last five years (including DVD releases and TV sales), his films earned an average of US$3.29.

Hollywood royalty Tom Cruise came in sixth in the list with his films making US$7.18 for every dollar he was paid for movies like Valkyrie and Lions For Lambs.
