Nimrod Antal, the Hungarian director who advertised a Vacancy to Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale in that 2007 horror-thriller, is set to direct the next Predator movie, entitled Predators.

Latino Review reported that Antal was picked to direct what is hoped to be a franchise relaunch, scripted by relatively new writer Alex Litvak from a treatment by Robert Rodriguez. Yep, that Desperado and Sin City guy.

Rodriguez is also producing the movie.

Antal's next release will be Armored later this year. The action thriller starring Matt Dillon, Laurence Fishburne and Columbus Short is about an armoured truck security guard who is pressured by his colleagues into aiding and abetting them in a robbery of one of their own vehicles.
