Ed Norton silent on Avengers role
It's the subject of much superhero movie hype that Marvel is gearing up for its solo heroes Iron Man, Thor and Captain America to be part of a huge Avengers movie in 2012.
But, given that the Hulk was part of the founding team and that RDJ's Tony Stark had a cameo at the end of last year's Incredible Hulk movie, what about the Green Goliath?
Edward Norton, who played Hulk alter-ego Bruce Banner in that film, was silent when quizzed about his possible participation.
"I probably won't comment on that just because they keep a pretty tight rein on what they are letting out," he told a group of journalists at the Television Critics Association summer press tour.
(Norton was there promoting a Barack Obama documentary.)
The encouraging news is that Norton didn't say no outright, or else he could have just said "No," and moved on.
Still, Sci Fi Wire speculates, it is also possible Marvel may just use the CGI Hulk for the Avengers movie and leave "puny Banner" out of the picture entirely.
