Tommy Lee has said in a statement that he is not quitting Motley Crue, after retracting his resignation from the rockers.

Lee fell out with bandmates Nikki Sixx, Vince Neil and Mick Mars, when the latter trio accused Lee's manager Carl Stubner of persuading him to drop Motley Crue tour dates to appear in two reality TV shows.

Lee initially announced his resignation from the band last Wednesday, but later issued a second statement, vowing to work out his differences with Sixx, Neil and Mars.

"I am a founding member of Motley Crue. I have tried to meet with my bandmates repeatedly without success but have informed them that I'm not walking away from my band of 25 years," the second statement read.
