Bon Jovi has commissioned Barbara Kopple to direct a documentary on them, which will comprise old and new footage of the band.

"We just realized that (over) all the years, we really didn't document enough stuff," guitarist Richie Sambora said. "We put out a box set a few years ago, but we look at other bands, contemporaries like U2, even Tom Petty and Aerosmith, and they had cameras rolling all the time.”

The band will embark on a world tour to support their Lost Highway album soon.
