The Boyzone boys honor Stephen Gately through an album

Former boy band member Stephen Gately's death took the nation by surprise. To honor the singer, the remaining members of the once extremely famous band, Boyzone are working on a tribute album to remember their fellow band mate.

Sky News reports that the record will feature two tracks that include vocals recorded by Gately before his death. Lead vocalist, Ronan Keating told the news source, "He was so excited about this (album), he actually texted me just before he went out on the night he died and he said he couldn't wait to get started."

"I had never seen Stephen so full of life, so happy, so healthy and just so alive. That's what's making his death all the harder for us."

Stephen Gately was found dead in his apartment in Port d'Andratx, Majorca. A postmortem showed that the singer died of natural causes, with a pulmonary edema.
