Former Beatle's star the late George Harrison, has been given a Hollywood Walk of Fame star. Present during the placement of the star, were fellow band member and best friends, Paul McCartney and Tom Petty along with Harrison's widow, Olivia, and son, Dhani.

The star was placed in front of the landmark Capitol Records Building.

As a band, the Beatles already have a star on the walk, but only John Lennon and George Harrison now have individuals ones. Harrison died of lung cancer in 2001 at the age of 58 and was the youngest member of the group.
