Although Chau has held numerous concerts in his 19-year singing career, this is Lee’s first individual concert after more than two decades in the industry. Dubbed the 1980s and 1990s music godfather of Taiwan, Lee has produced numerous platinum albums for singers such as Sarah Chen Su Hua and ex-wife Sandy Lam. His superstar protégés include Jackie Chan’s son, Jaycee Fongand Chau.
Malaysia will be their third stop after Singapore and China. Their four-hour New Year’s Eve concert in Beijing made history as the longest ever concert in the city, which saw big names like Jackie Chan, Fish Leong and Tarcy Su making guest appearances.
