Talented organist Leonard Selva. |
Penang-born Selva was one of the five winners of Discovery Networks Asia and the National Film Development Corporation’s (Finas) First Time Film Makers (FTFM) Malaysia initiative.
His documentary, Pipe Organs, is about a man with a passion for pipe organs and a mission to play at the Dewan Filharmonik. His journey maps the landscape of the Malaysian pipe organ scene and explores the communities that maintain these instruments.
This recital will be filmed as part of Selva’s 30-minute documentary for the FTFM. The documentary will be screened across South-East Asia in December. Admission is free. For more information, call 03-20517007 or e-mail dfp_box office@petronas.com.my.
