Camryn Manheim of The Practice will join the cast of Ghost Whisperer in its upcoming second season as a series regular, SCI FI Wire reports.

Manheim replaces Aisha Tyler, whose character was written out of the show in the previous season finale.

Star Jennifer Love Hewitt, who confirmed Manheim's casting, also said the new season would feature a number of "really good guest stars".

Among them is Jay Mohr of the HBO series Action, who will be a recurring guest.
